Lake Pukaki was on our way to Lake Tekapo, it was famous for its very special color of the lake water. The color of its lake water has a slightly whitish feel. 

We also have a nickname for it called "Milk Lake".

At the same time, there is an i-site by the lake of Lake Pukaki that sells salmon. And I think it is the top-notch salmon. Having eaten such good salmon for the first time, I highly, highly recommend it.
