I went straight in without a reservation while near Sinsa-dong (because every time I passed by, I noticed there were seats by the window 😛).
That day, although there were available seats, the owner said we had to finish our meal within an hour because the restaurant had been fully booked later by a large group. We quickly ordered three portions of sirloin and raw beef! The raw beef came first, and it was absolutely delicious—super fresh! I usually don’t enjoy raw food much, but this place totally won me over. The customer sitting next to us (an older sister) also couldn’t stop praising it—it wasn’t greasy at all and went perfectly with the shredded pear, making it refreshing and sweet. The sirloin that came later was also incredibly tasty! Although it was cut into rather small pieces (unlike the photogenic plating at many trendy spots), it was seriously delicious. The tables around us were all filled with Korean families dining together.
After this meal, this place has become my absolute favorite Korean BBQ spot. Recently, whenever customers 👶 ask me to recommend a good grilled meat restaurant, I’ve been recommending this one without hesitation!
