There are three Great Walks of New Zealand near Queenstown! One can imagine how beautiful the scenery in this area is.

Previously, I went to the visitor information center (I-site) to ask about the tracks. I knew that the chance of booking the Milford Track in Milford Sound is almost zero, because this can be said to be the best of the nine Great Walks. 

If you want to book it, you need to do it a year in advance! (For other tracks, you need to book one week to half a month in advance). But in the end, I still asked with a glimmer of hope. Unexpectedly, it's amazing! Just when someone withdrew, I booked it immediately.

Fortunately, there is a friend who lives by the lake. I stayed at her house for a week.
