Fast food chains like KFC and Burger King in Minsk have similar prices to those in China, but the food and drink prices in local restaurants or cafes here are much cheaper, about half the price compared to China. I was quite surprised. For example, when buying cookies in Belarus, they are weighed to calculate the price per gram. To me, the size and weight of each cookie should be similar, so why not price them per piece?
