After spending two weeks in Korea, I really miss speaking Chinese! I'm trying hard to learn some Korean, and the linguistic differences are certainly significant (especially for a native English speaker).
Chinese grammar is relatively easier, but the Korean writing system is very easy to learn. Korean has no tones, but it does have honorifics and "particles." However, personally, I think Chinese is more difficult, especially at the beginning.
