I first went to Quebec City, where the Old Town is full of beautiful European-style buildings and streets, truly living up to its nickname as Little Europe. I followed the filming locations of Goblin and checked out Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, Petit Champlain Street, the fountain, and the stairs. The pace of life here feels even slower than in Vancouver. Since I visited in the summer, I also caught the Umbrella Alley, which was quite charming and interesting!
Checked out a few restaurants:
Q de Sac
Highly recommend this place! We went twice. Their beef cheek pizza and sausage pasta were delicious, but the menu leans more toward fast food.
Légende
This one was quite disappointing, one-star rating. Despite seeing lots of good reviews, the actual experience was a letdown—the dishes were too salty, and a couple were so salty we only took one bite. The drink pairing was also just average.
La Buche
We went here for brunch. Many of their dishes are only available in the evening, so the brunch menu had limited options. The food was decent, but I think dinner might be a better experience.
